Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) is a former American actress. She began her career as a child actor and model, Elson is probably best-known for her TV roles as Alice Tyler on the CBS science-fiction series . Andrea tried out for and was awarded the part as Lynn Tanner of the ALF hit show (1986). After many years of working on shows that were a hit and movies, she decided to leave the field to raise her family. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF as the teen girl of Kate and Willie. People published an article in which Elson described how difficult becoming an aspiring young woman and then appear on the sitcom. Elson, who was green eyed New York City native grew in her travels due to the advertising job her father held. When she was just ten years old, she was living between New York Chicago San Diego as well as Los Angeles. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent. The part she auditioned was selected. Fusco supported the idea by saying, "ALF can drink beer because he is older than 285." When ALF started to become more popular, NBC said that Fusco was no longer allowed to have ALF drinking alcohol with the kids. This was not a good character model. Fusco still believed ALF to be an adult and could manage the drinking. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. The treatment was successful and his cancer was at a high level of remission through the end of 2019. The Lillian Booth Actors Home of Englewood in New Jersey on June 26, 2019 he died from this disease at 75.
