Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish and English descendant is her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' prior marriages. The family was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, then moved to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she refused to learn English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was required to take her. She then went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and took part in the drama department. Then she dropped out of high school at 16 to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an actor started in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her as a professional model.
